We are a community of athletes performing Weightlifting and Crossfit in the Bronx
In our CrossFit classes, elements of gymnastics, Olympic weightlifting, powerlifting, sprinting, rowing and jumping are all combined into one program to help you achieve elite fitness. This is the only program capable of simultaneously developing your endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, agility, balance, coordination, and accuracy.
All of these principles are applied to a small group class where training with your friends does more than make the experience a ton of fun. Our CrossFit classes are all about team spirit and motivation. Whether you consider yourself a competitive CrossFitter or not, seeing others around you perform will instinctively push you to be your very best. Training with others also holds you accountable to staying on track. Miss a workout? It probably won’t go unnoticed. Chances are, you’ll get texts and Facebook messages from your buddies asking where you are. If you are having trouble getting motivated or have a tendency to fall off of the fitness wagon, then this is the place for you.
The Weightlifting Club is a strength and power development program. We utilize Olympic Weightlifting to increase strength and skill with the barbell. This class is for all levels. Whether you're a competitive weightlifter, a CrossFiter sharpening up your lifts, or a fitness enthusiast looking to increase your strength and power, we can take you there. Weightlifting classes will run within a 3 hour time slot. During this time you will work on the two main competition lifts, the Clean & Jerk, and the Snatch, as well as all accessory lifts. Sessions are lead by a USAW certified coach. All athletes will follow an individualized program based on his or her needs, which is recommended by the coach according to their goals. The coach running the session will provide cues and guide athletes through their training, making sure the lifts are executed properly. Its a fun, supportive, and inspiring environment. Join our lifting team and find the strongest version of yourself using internationally recognized methods.
We understand that group classes aren’t for everyone. Some beneﬁt more in a one-on-one atmosphere. Some have speciﬁc objectives that aren’t always met in the class programming. Perhaps you’ve reached an athletic plateau or you are not be making the type of progress you would like to be making. If any of these are something you can relate to, then consider joining us for a personal training session. These sessions are the most effective and efﬁcient way to achieve your personal ﬁtness goals –especially when the general group ﬁtness class program is just not enough to get you to where you want to be. One of the BXBC coaches will work with you to help deﬁne your goals, conduct a comprehensive assessment of your ﬁtness level, and train you through a program designed speciﬁcally for your needs.

that combines a wide variety of functional movements into a timed or scored workout. We do pull-ups, squats, push-ups, weightlifting, gymnastics, running, rowing, and a host of other movements. Always varied, always changing, always producing results. Kids, cops, firefighters, soccer players, moms, Navy SEALS, and grandmas all do CrossFit. In fact, hundreds of thousands worldwide have followed our workouts and distinguished themselves
in combat, the streets, the ring, stadiums, gyms and homes.
